Commentary Systems

Glensound Electronics ‘stand alone’ commentators boxes are all self-contained units that do not require a base station to produce a program. They are often used with direct connections back to an OB truck, sometimes they are used in permanent installations at sports grounds or in studios for ‘off-tube’ work and they can also often be found in translation facilities.

TMS AT MET EXPO 2022 – WRAP UP

 

For the first time in more than two years the highly anticipated MET Expo returned. It was a fantastic show with a great turn out of broadcast and pro audio industry professionals.

TMS had so many new and exciting concepts and products to demonstrate and discuss. The compact AVATUS-C from Stage Tec is the newest addition to the AVATUS range, a compact IP based audio console with three user interfaces.

What was new at MET Expo 2022?

AVATUS Stage Tec offers solutions that incorporate the technology of the future. For their modular flagship mixing-console system AVATUS, the user-interface portfolio will be expanded by a compact version AVATUS.

D-Series PTZ Camera The D Series Dante AV camera provides high quality color image up to 4K60 / Full HD, with quiet and smooth Pan, Tilt and Zoom capability. It is a great video device that is fully compatible with existing Dante system for Dante audio devices to work with.

ANUBIS The ANUBIS from Merging Technologies is a single product with multiple workflows. A Monitor controller that also controls your network, perfect for your SMTPE 2110 monitoring needs. A low latency mixer and processor with extraordinary audio quality.

ANDIAMO As DirectOut’s Australian Distributor, we were also excited to show the DirectOut range and help to announce the release of the third generation of the popular ANDIAMO. The device comes with newly designed AD/DA Converters, network based audio and remote control.

DELEC AND VCOM SOFTWARE IP INTERCOM

 

In product development news, DELEC has partnered with Intracom Systems and its leading IP Software Matrix Intercom, VCOM. VCOM virtual panels can be used for both DELEC oratis and oratis compact intercom systems and digital PA. The system has the advantage of both flexibility and portability as it works over internet connections on iOS, Android and Windows, even on 3G/4G networks!

VCOM virtual panels combined with oratis intercom systems or digital PA offers users low latency audio codec and high bandwidth audio. The system also supports full paging panel functionality including; intercom between phones and panels, conference rooms with up to 256 ports, the ability to listen to any source within the system and the ability to control GPOs, routes and audio levels.

 

The VCOM system integrates to both DELEC MF4 and CS Systems via Dante and has a centralised server design (up to 64 ports per server). The system also supports external microphones and headphones/headsets.

TMS IS ACCREDITED WITH FURTHER ISO CERTIFICATIONS

 tm stagetec systems (TMS) is pleased to announce that further to our recent accreditation with the internationally recognised quality management standard certificate – ISO 9001:2015, we have now also been accredited with ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015.
